We are an independent, grassroots non-profit organization, Fircrest Parks And Recreation Foundation (FPRF). Our mission is “to preserve and enhance the quality of Fircrest parks and recreation facilities and programming with a focus on community, livability and equity.”

Retired Weyerhaeuser executive, business owner, community volunteer, husband, and proud father of two spectacular adult daughters who were raised in Fircrest.

An executive at Pilkey, Hopping and Eckberg Insurance, member of the Fircrest Planning Commission, husband, and father of two girls.

Patti Betzendorfer
30+ years of business-related HR experience with Fortune 500 companies, currently a human resources consultant in organizational development and career transition, moved back to Fircrest with her husband in 2015.

Partner & Senior Investment Advisor at Pacific Portfolio Consulting, former board member Western Pension & Benefits Council, Charles Schwab Trust & Custody Advisory Board, Bellarmine Prep Finance Committee. and has resided in Fircrest for 14 years with his wife Donna.

Owner and operator of Flow Fitness and Physical Therapy, employee at St. Clare Hospital, board member of Fircrest Soccer Club in multiple roles.

Richard Brady
Assistant Attorney General (Education Division), General Counsel for Tacoma Community College and the Washington Student Achievement Council, former President of the Greater Metro Parks Foundation board, Rotarian, Tacoma Musical Playhouse board, and has lived in Fircrest with his wife Nelwyn for 16 years.
