Fircrest History
The thing that makes Fircrest special has always been the sense of community that draws families to it. A virtuous cycle built upon communal experiences and pride. A large part of that has been the special relationship between the residents and the parks, green spaces and facilities that create places to gather together and celebrate the simple moments that bind us together.
Important Dates in Fircrest History
1937
The Fircrest Recreation Association was formed, laying the groundwork for what would eventually become Fircrest Fun Days.
1957
The The Fircrest Community Club sponsors a Golden Anniversary Celebration-Street-O-Rama. Proceeds went to the newly renovated Fircrest Park.
1960
The new Fircrest Community Building opens at Fircrest Park.
1962
The Fircrest Pool opens.
2021
The New Fircrest Pool opens.
2022
The New Fircrest Pool opens.
